This early history of Kissel by Gene Husting was the product of many trips over his lifetime to Hartford, WI. He also interviewed William Kissel (one of the company founders), Frederich Warner, Jr (son of the Kissel body engineer), Herman Palmer (chief Kissel mechanical engineer) and several others who had a part in building Kissel cars. |

Andrew Wilson provided a copy of these instructions to Lynn. Among other things, they contain an image of the chassis with lubrication instructions and wiring diagrams for 1914 KisselKar models 6-60, 6-48 and 4-40. |

Chapter 8 of this book covers high-tension (high-voltage) magnetos and Section 81 had a description of the Bosch Duplex System, the kind of dual coil/magneto ignition system in Annie.
